Fort Detrick, MD - Educational Services

The Fort Detrick Liaison, Education and Outreach Services is located at 924 Doughten Drive and coordinates all child, youth and adult educational needs. The center offers parent education as well as keeping military families in formed about their children's school activities and events. The Girls and Boys Clubs as well as the 4-H club offers collaboration with parents on academic success for their children. The Education Center has a parent volunteer program that allows parents to observe the educational system that their children are a part. Academic and Vocational Counseling for Professional and Personal Development
Counseling is provided on a first-come first-server basis. Counselor availability is as follows:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 0800-1700
Wednesday: 1000-1700


Local colleges such as Frederick Community College, Hood College, University of Maryland University College, Hagerstown Community College, Frostburg State University, Central Michigan University, Mount Saint Mary's University and Strayer University offer a variety of degree programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
